The primary responsibilities include assisting in leading National Fleet Safety strategy and compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). You will be directly responsible for the reconciliation of DOT compliance related solutions and collaborate with EHS leadership in developing vehicle collision reduction programs and injury reduction programs for CDL driver populations. Furthermore, you will develop DOT compliance audit programs and assure national implementation, monitor Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and Electronic Vehicle Inspection Reports (EDVIR) for compliance with FMCSR and Company policies across all divisions, and ensure fleet safety resources communicate pre-shift weekly safety messages to transportation associates. Lastly, you will ensure fleet safety professionals competently complete DOT regulatory training for sites, including driver qualification, hours-of-service, driver vehicle inspection reports, and drug/alcohol testing.
