About the position

The Mgr Nurse position at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies involves leading a dynamic nursing team in providing high-quality patient care in a perioperative setting. The role emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritizing wellness and evidence-based practices. The manager will also be responsible for precepting new staff and ensuring safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.

• Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
• Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
• Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a baccalaureate school of nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
