About the position

The Manager of Operations in the Oncology department at Cobb Hospital is responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects related to planning, execution, and performance improvement. This role involves collaboration with hospital leaders to ensure adherence to workflow processes and performance outcomes, while also managing financial aspects and contractual relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management oversight to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with hospital and departmental leaders.
• Ensure adherence to workflow processes and clinical/business performance outcomes.
• Oversee multiple interdependent projects and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Manage contractual relationships with partners, including Behavioral Health and Transport.
• Support the budgeting process and maintain awareness of financial progress.
• Facilitate task forces, committees, or councils to coordinate activities for the organization.
• Support clinical outcomes and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management or related field.
• Master's degree in Business Administration/Management or Health Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in healthcare management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, strategic planning, operations, human resources, and IT.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to develop goals.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Business Administration/Management or Health Administration.
