The Manager of Organizational Change at Ochsner Health plays a pivotal role in leading strategic program efforts across the organization. This position is responsible for effectively managing a set of strategic initiatives that leverage various core capabilities including project management, quality improvement, design/systems thinking, operational excellence, business process reengineering, change management, and process improvement. The manager will interface directly with the executive team to drive program strategy and efficiently achieve project objectives. This role requires leading multidisciplinary teams to meet or exceed targeted goals through expert-level program management. In this position, the manager will be tasked with leading impactful strategic initiatives, ensuring that program goals are achieved within budgetary, time, and organizational parameters. The role involves developing a program communication strategy that articulates ideas clearly to project teams and engages with senior leaders. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for developing program curriculum and serving as an instructor for PMO training programs. The strategic approach of programs will be shaped by building governance infrastructure, facilitating solution design, and driving execution. The manager will apply project management methodologies and tools to navigate the project lifecycle efficiently. They will leverage sponsors to plan and direct work, remove obstacles, and hold teams accountable for results. Identifying and applying appropriate improvement science approaches, such as DMAIC and PDSA, will be essential for solving process design problems. The role also requires analyzing and visualizing data to provide insights and encourage action from the team. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary, and the manager must remain knowledgeable about current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements that apply to their area of responsibility.
