About the position

The Manager, Privacy Program at CNO Financial Group is responsible for implementing a self-sustaining Privacy Program operating model and governance structure. This role involves managing a small team and serving as a key subject matter expert on privacy issues, particularly in relation to the OneTrust Privacy and Data Governance Platform. The position is integral to the company's growth and success, ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements while fostering strong data privacy practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, milestones, and long-term road map for a comprehensive enterprise privacy program.
• Implement work plans to configure and govern components of the OneTrust Privacy and Data Governance Platform.
• Collaborate with SVMO, ERM, and Cyber Security Services teams to enhance risk management processes using OneTrust.
• Manage and mentor individual contributors in the Privacy Team, including Privacy Governance Analysts and Privacy Consultants.
• Support continuous improvement of data privacy practices through training and educational resources.
• Work cross-functionally to integrate privacy practices and regulatory requirements into business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of directly related experience.
• At least one active CIPP certification and willingness to obtain additional certification(s) within one year of hire.
• Five years of directly related work experience in Privacy Program Management.

Nice-to-haves

• Masters Degree/MBA in IT management or related field.
• Certifications such as CIPP-US, CIPP-PM, CIPP-EU, CIPP-T, CISSP, Certified PM.
• Ten years of directly related work experience in Privacy Program Management.
