About the position

The Mgr. Production Maintenance position at Schaeffler Group in Danbury, CT, is a full-time role focused on ensuring the operational efficiency of manufacturing machines within a designated plant or manufacturing unit (MU). The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing maintenance standards and defining maintenance schedules and processes to guarantee the availability of all manufacturing machines. The candidate will also contribute to the design, layout, realization, and optimization of the technical infrastructure, ensuring that all processes align with the company's operational goals. In addition to managing internal maintenance processes, the Mgr. Production Maintenance will oversee cooperation with external suppliers and maintenance service providers. This includes managing budgets and resources as agreed upon, ensuring that all maintenance activities are executed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
