About the position

The EWM Inventory Management Program Manager at DB Schenker plays a crucial role in supporting the Customer, Warehouse Team, and Data Center Team. This position is responsible for managing EWM inventory for the NASA region, ensuring accuracy, driving strategic planning, and facilitating performance management across all sites. The role requires strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily EWM inventory for the NASA region, ensuring accuracy and oversight of deltas.
  • Drive the Americas strategic planning process to achieve productivity and customer goals.
  • Facilitate performance management across all sites through tracking and reporting on strategic initiatives and key metrics.
  • Provide timely customer analytics to support strategy and priority initiatives.
  • Communicate proactively across business units to gain feedback and alignment.
  • Challenge assumptions and engage leaders using program management expertise.
  • Lead the development and execution of communication strategies to promote company priorities.
  • Support change management programs linked to client strategy.
  • Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives with Warehouse and Data Center Teams.
  • Report on the achievement of continuous improvement initiatives and their impact on cost, service levels, and productivity.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy, tactics, development, and facilitation.
  • Business or Engineering degree is required.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills to develop strong working relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
