This position plays a crucial role in the company's ability to generate the revenue necessary for the successful development and implementation of strategic initiatives, which directly impacts shareholder returns, cash levels, and earnings. The individual in this role will be responsible for the development, execution, and support of strategic policies, regularly communicating with Exelon's key senior management and external stakeholders, including state and federal governmental agencies. The primary responsibilities include managing Revenue Requirement functions and special projects, which encompass retail or wholesale regulatory filings and the strategic review of alternative cost recovery regulatory mechanisms. This role is integral to the planning, development, recommendation, and support of strategic policies and positions for distribution, transmission, supply, or surcharge rate revenue requests. The position may also involve testifying on behalf of the company in litigated regulatory proceedings. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define innovative regulatory infrastructures and alternative regulatory approaches that align with the company's strategic objectives. In addition, the role requires applying critical analytical skills and possessing a comprehensive understanding of regulatory, ratemaking, accounting, financial, and legal concepts unique to the utility industry. This ensures adherence to regulatory filing requirements for distribution, transmission, supply, or surcharge rate proceedings, including the preparation of testimony. The individual will also manage compliance-related matters and lead the design and implementation of process improvements aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of regulatory filings. The position may require extended hours and travel, as well as providing coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
