About the position

The Manager of Sales Enablement Operations & Instructional Design at Deltek plays a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for developing impactful curriculum content and ensuring operational excellence within sales enablement programs. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, managing direct reports, and overseeing projects aimed at continuous improvement and simplification of processes. The role also focuses on elevating the sales enablement maturity model and implementing the Allego sales enablement platform roadmap to align with the organization's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to develop new, innovative curriculum content for sales enablement programs.
  • Provide workload guidance and management oversight to direct reports, ensuring the team meets its objectives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support collaboration across functions.
  • Ensure operational standards are met by maintaining course templates, tools, guidelines, and quality checklists.
  • Establish and manage processes for organizing, maintaining, and measuring adoption of the Sales Enablement platform across all Go-To-Market (GTM) organizations.
  • Oversee the cataloging, updating, and retiring of learning content, ensuring it remains relevant and evergreen.
  • Identify and implement solutions for process simplification and operational efficiency within the Sales Enablement function.
  • Help define and execute the strategy for enablement programs in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Allego Governance Committee to set the direction for use cases and implement new features within the platform.
  • Drive the transformation of learning content by creating user-friendly training materials and aligning with the Learning Content transformation use case.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales enablement platform usage, course completion rates, and other key metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning content.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and positive communication within the Sales Enablement function, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, providing clear updates on the enablement roadmap, and engage in one-on-one GROW coaching sessions with direct reports to support their professional development.
  • Develop and manage individual development plans (IDPs) for each direct report, focusing on personal growth and performance.
  • Empower the team by providing the necessary tools and processes to enable positive organizational change.
  • Drive the Sales Enablement Maturity Model to an optimized state, ensuring that the function proactively supports multiple programs, including onboarding, coaching, and new product launches.
  • Measure the impact of sales enablement programs through productivity and effectiveness metrics, continuously refining programs to achieve optimal results.
  • Oversee the adoption of the Sales Enablement platform across GTM teams, ensuring that content is well-organized, maintained, and easily actionable.
  • Work closely with the Program Management (PM), Instructional Design (ID), and Technology teams to implement and optimize the use of Allego's platform in alignment with the organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales enablement, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a focus on coaching, developing, and guiding teams.
  • Strong operational skills, with the ability to streamline processes and ensure consistent quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms (such as Allego) and experience in driving platform adoption.
  • A strong understanding of metrics and the ability to analyze data to improve the effectiveness of enablement programs.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
