About the position

Responsible for supporting the financial operations for Morton Hospital. Responsibilities include Supply Chain support daily and monthly statistical financial and productivity reporting monitoring of A/P and A/R processes Reviews variance discrepancies researches exception issues.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all related Supply Chain support functions; PO’s requisitions vendor set-up shipping interfacing with vendors etc
  • Works closely with offsite Accounts Payable and hospital departments to ensure invoices are processed accurately.
  • Review and analyze monthly budget variances and summarize for monthly close meeting and Senior Management.
  • Maintains reconciliation of the capital budget reviews all capital requests and helps departments do necessary paperwork and analysis.
  • Responsible for completing analyses and presentations as directed.
  • Reviews and researches contracts Perform other duties as directed/required.

Requirements

  • Business Accounting or related field experience required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills use of pivot tables and V lookup helpful.
  • Strong analytic and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in priorities.
  • Ability to interact effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility as delegated.
  • Ability to make decisions within the confines of the position.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to all personnel/projects/information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelors degree in Business Accounting or related field
  • Three years of related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Analysis or Healthcare Finance preferred.
