About the position

The MH/HSE Sales Representative / Product Manager at Blaxtair Inc. is responsible for promoting and selling innovative safety solutions designed to protect pedestrians near industrial machinery. This role involves engaging with customers across various industries, managing existing accounts, and establishing new ones while traveling extensively within a defined territory. The position requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and the ability to present complex solutions effectively to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers by selling Blaxtair products and meeting their needs regarding the health and safety of pedestrians.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volumes of dealers.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Inform management on activity and results, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Recommend product, service, and policy changes by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Fully engage with the company's CRM for all sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science or technology preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of industry sales experience.
  • 2 years experience in a product management role with technical and sales customer relationships in the tech industry.
  • 2 years experience involving extensive traveling in the US (60% of the time).
  • Experience in the forklift and heavy machine industry is strongly appreciated.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS Office software and use of a CRM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous residency in France or Europe is a huge plus!
  • Experience as a technician or any technical background is strongly appreciated.
