About the position

The Digital Marketing & Media Manager at Marshall Health Network is responsible for developing and leading high-impact digital marketing strategies that align with the health system's strategic priorities. This role encompasses oversight of web and social media strategy, media relations management, lead generation through search engine marketing, and management of consumer-facing tools, with a focus on reporting digital engagement metrics. The manager must stay updated on digital trends, collaborate with executive leadership, and manage relationships with agencies and technology vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for Marshall Health Network and its facilities.
  • Manage web and social media strategy, ensuring content is optimized for search engines and generates inbound traffic.
  • Coordinate digital campaigns and manage web content effectively.
  • Create and maintain an enterprise-wide content calendar for social media, tracking metrics and ensuring relevance.
  • Support media relations efforts, acting as a spokesperson and managing news pitches and crisis communications.
  • Research, write, and disseminate various media materials including news releases and feature stories.
  • Create clear and concise communications that reflect the goals of the health network.
  • Participate in the editing and proofing process to adhere to corporate standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media campaigns, and website content management.
  • Experience in media relations with established relationships with local and regional media.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Matomo, and Meltwater or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of website UX design and digital design best practices.
  • Knowledge of web content management systems like Silverstripe or Wordpress.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Google Adwords certification.
