Responsibilities
- Receive and process laboratory specimens.
- Centrifuge and separate samples as needed.
- Refrigerate and label specimens appropriately.
- Make and stain smears for analysis.
- Plant specimens onto culture media for growth.
- Store samples according to laboratory protocols.
Requirements
- Completion of college biology, microbiology, and/or cell biology courses preferred.
- Medical Lab Tech (MLT) certification preferred.
- Clinical laboratory experience is required.
- Leadership skills are beneficial.
