About the position

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. This role is responsible for managing and administering Microsoft 365 services, Intune, Azure, and PowerShell scripting for automation and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft cloud technologies and a proven track record in managing, configuring, and securing enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Deploy, manage, and support Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
  • Configure and maintain Azure AD and related security settings to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation, configuration management, and reporting on Microsoft 365 and Azure resources.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for end-user issues related to Microsoft 365 services, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and reliability; implement improvements and optimizations as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of Microsoft 365 services with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures for Microsoft 365 services.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure features, best practices, and security trends.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an M365 Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience with Intune, particularly in device compliance, policy management, and application protection.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, conditional access, multi-factor authentication, and related security concepts.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and task management.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and Microsoft security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Microsoft certifications (such as MS-100, MS-101, or AZ-104) are a plus.
