About the position

As a Microsoft 365 System Administrator at Uline, you will be an integral part of our IT team, responsible for managing and optimizing our collaboration technologies. This role is essential in ensuring that our Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, operate seamlessly across our organization. You will implement best practices to enhance the functionality and efficiency of these platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our business. In this position, you will provide top-tier support by coordinating with various teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise within our systems. Monitoring system performance, availability, and reliability will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing you to proactively address potential problems before they impact our operations. Collaboration with other IT staff and stakeholders is crucial, as you will work closely with them to ensure that our tools align with business requirements and enhance overall productivity. This role is based on-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI, or Waukegan, IL, depending on the needs of the company. We are looking for individuals who are not only technically proficient but also share our passion for enhancing collaboration and improving operational efficiency within our growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence applications.
  • Implement best practices and optimize our Microsoft 365 and Atlassian environments.
  • Provide top-tier support, coordinating with various teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Work closely with other IT staff and stakeholders to ensure our tools meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 features, functionalities, and automation.
  • In-depth understanding of Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
