About the position

The Azure Engineer will provide engineering and second-level support for all Azure platform and related services. This role involves assessing, designing, and supporting solutions on the Azure platform components, with a focus on architecture and engineering of Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical skills and proficiency in Azure services, and will be able to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, support, and maintain customers' Azure environment.
  • Write assessment, design, migration, and operational support documents.
  • Provide technical guidance to delivery teams during managed services engagements.
  • Act as top tier escalation for critical errors in customer environments.
  • Conduct technical deep dives and root cause analysis.
  • Assist with the design and development of proprietary monitoring and remote management tools.
  • Manage, evaluate performance of, provide feedback to, coach, and provide career guidance to Analyst and Consultant level team members.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with specified infrastructure and IT technologies.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology or a similar field.
  • Exam MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • Exam MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration
  • Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • Exam AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals, MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration, AZ-103: Microsoft Azure Administrator, AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator.
