About the position

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) Consultant role at Withum involves working directly with clients to design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, aiming to achieve significant business improvements. This position is part of the Management Consulting Services team, which focuses on enhancing client operations through effective management of people, processes, technology, and data. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to foster long-term client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements definition workshops and design documentation for ERP implementations.
• Demonstrate problem-solving techniques to optimize the ERP implementation process.
• Develop personal networks to establish long-term relationships leading to new business opportunities.
• Establish project governance and collaborate with project team members to ensure successful delivery of client projects.
• Support cross-functional teams in developing and executing project deliverables, including technical components.
• Maintain strong relationships with business and functional team members to align objectives and expectations.
• Work with leadership to refine program management and implementation strategies.

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementations.
• Exceptional communication skills in internal and client-facing environments.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Information Technology.
• Functional business process knowledge for ERP solutions.
• Strong data management skills and analytical abilities.
• Consensus building skills and ability to manage demanding client personalities.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant.
• Experience with waterfall and agile implementation methodologies.
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) or Cloud technologies.
• Aptitude to learn new technologies.
