About the position
The Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Developer role at GBSI involves developing, customizing, enhancing, and supporting the Dynamics GP environment. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about IT, take ownership of their work, and possess a growth mindset. The developer will collaborate with a vibrant team to innovate and create solutions that drive client growth, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, enhance, and support the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains environment.
- Run development testing for Great Plains.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
- Document and maintain design documentation, including process flows, data flows, and system interactions.
- Support Great Plains implementations and upgrades.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team of developers in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
- 2+ years of experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with GP Accounting and Inventory modules.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a life science or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge of FDA inspection and internal audit processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge or exposure to Veeva RIM, Submission/Archive, Publishing, etc.
