The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is seeking a qualified candidate for the Microsoft .NET Developer (IT Programmer Analyst Lead/Advanced) position in the Office of Information Resources. This role is critical in designing, coding, compiling, and testing software applications that support the MVA's operations. The successful candidate will utilize various programming languages and developmental tools to create robust software solutions that meet the needs of end users. The position requires a strong focus on debugging and troubleshooting software errors, ensuring that applications function smoothly and efficiently. In addition to development tasks, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing applications by evaluating and revising them as necessary. This includes working closely with end users to plan, develop, evaluate, and test applications, ensuring that the software aligns with user requirements and organizational goals. The role also involves analyzing data to determine the purpose of applications and finding effective solutions to any identified problems. The candidate will be expected to read technical literature and software manuals to enhance their knowledge of various computer languages, which will aid in resolving application issues. Furthermore, the role includes developing and assembling user documentation to support the applications created. Employees in this position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and must be available for on-call duty 24 hours a day.
