About The Position
As the Microsoft Office 365 Lead at Vontier, you will play a pivotal role in leading digital transformation initiatives within a global organization dedicated to advancing mobility. This position requires a strong focus on driving revenue growth, optimizing investments, and achieving operational excellence. You will be responsible for collaborating closely with various global teams and operating companies, managing day-to-day activities through our systems. As a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft Office 365, you will work in conjunction with infrastructure and product team leads, architects, and other stakeholders to enhance the digital workspace experience using Microsoft Office 365 tools and technology. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining Exchange Online, O365, Proofpoint, email security, routing, and other O365 solutions. You will leverage technologies such as Outlook, Quest Migration, and Defender for Office 365 to meet business needs effectively. Additionally, you will drive best practices in Digital Workplace and Office 365 infrastructure tools and technology, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of Office 365, configuring, administering, securing, and troubleshooting Office 365 tenant mail routing and configurations. You will also be tasked with discovering Active Directory (AD), Exchange, and Exchange Online security settings and configurations, preparing comprehensive discovery reports, and documenting risks and dependencies associated with these elements. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring, configuring, and administering Office 365 tools and technologies, including email, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams, and more. You will create PowerShell and utility scripts to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency. Moreover, you will manage e-discovery, Proofpoint, email relay, certificates, and other security measures, providing technical guidance to ensure readiness for migration and integration of new acquisitions. Your role will involve investigating Office 365 and Azure-related alerts and compliance threshold breaches, as well as creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) of system and application configurations and changes. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
