About the position

The M365 Team Lead at CACI is responsible for overseeing technical resources delivering services across the Microsoft 365 platform. This role involves managing a team of engineers and developers, ensuring project deadlines are met, and providing solutions for operational and maintenance tasks. The position requires active leadership, coordination with various stakeholders, and a focus on continual service improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide active, hands-on leadership to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Own the team and their output, fostering improvement and quality of work.
  • Create and share weekly status reports demonstrating team productivity and accomplishments.
  • Identify areas of improvement for team processes and implement solutions.
  • Coordinate with Scrum Master and Development staff to ensure resources are appropriately allocated for tasks and projects.
  • Act as a point of escalation for customers and technical staff, helping to remove obstacles and provide solutions.
  • Function as a liaison to the DHS customer and functional leads across the program.
  • Oversee projects to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are fulfilled, documenting progress regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to DHS defined project governance standards for each project and task.
  • Interface directly with end-users, stakeholders, and process owners to document business outcomes and verify project objectives.
  • Ensure all architectural artifacts and deliverables meet high-quality standards.
  • Provide regular and timely updates to customers and management.

Requirements

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD Clearance.
  • Proven experience leading a M365 development team in a supervisory, lead, or managerial capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business.
  • 10+ years of total IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with the MS platform.
  • Ability to interface with team members at all levels, including business operations, technology, and management.
  • Experience working with US Federal Government customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
