About the position
The Microsoft PowerBI Developer at Highering Talent will collaborate closely with clients to design and implement reports and visualizations that enhance business understanding through data analysis. This role involves working with multiple data sources stored in a data warehouse and delivering insights via a web application for dashboard representation. The developer will be part of a technical team focused on achieving project goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reports and visualizations based on client requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, providing actionable insights.
- Write complex T-SQL queries, create views, and stored procedures.
- Create appealing visualizations for derived datasets using PowerBI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building reports and visualizations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in developing complex PowerBI dashboards.
- Expert-level skills in designing, developing, and implementing data products.
- Strong T-SQL skills for writing complex queries and creating views and stored procedures.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with strong writing and research abilities.
- Complete understanding of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
- Strong presentation skills and techniques.
- Knowledge of data structures and analysis.
