About the position

The Microsoft System Administrator III position is focused on maintaining Microsoft desktops and servers within a hybrid Windows and RHEL environment. The role requires troubleshooting application functionality and performance, providing end-user desktop support, and identifying, analyzing, and resolving system incidents. This position is critical for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and supporting users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Microsoft desktops and servers in a hybrid Windows and RHEL environment
• Troubleshooting application functionality and performance
• Provide end user desktop support
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents.

Requirements

• 8 years system administration experience
• Experience and understanding of Active Directory Administration
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, DFS, and LDAP
• Proficiency in Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016
• Familiarity with Linux operating system
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 and ServiceNow.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong communications skills
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
• Understanding of PowerShell
• Experience with virtualization environments, e.g. VMware, Citrix, etc.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange.
