About the position

As a member of Sikorsky's Industrial Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and affordability. Your responsibilities will include manpower planning, capacity analysis, and labor performance monitoring, utilizing various analytical tools to support decision-making in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production through manpower planning and capacity analysis.
• Conduct workflow and lead-time assessments to improve efficiency.
• Monitor labor performance and develop standard data for production processes.
• Justify capital investments and conduct make-vs-buy studies.
• Analyze learning curves to enhance operational efficiency.
• Build daily and weekly reports using tools like Excel, Visio, Access, SQL, and Tableau.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years with a related Master's degree.
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP).
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Excel Macros and Tableau design.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments effectively.
• Greenbelt Certification and experience leading process improvement activities.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair, and Overhaul.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
