About the position

As an Industrial Engineer at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, you will be integral to enhancing manufacturing processes within the Blades Integrated Product Team. Your role focuses on optimizing production efficiency, managing capacity planning, and conducting labor performance analyses to support cost-effective manufacturing. You will leverage advanced tools and data-driven insights to streamline operations and ensure high-quality product delivery on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage manpower loading, capacity planning, workflow, and lead-time analysis.
• Conduct labor performance analysis and develop standard data to support cost-effective manufacturing.
• Justify capital equipment, conduct process observations, and perform learning curve analyses to drive operational improvements.
• Develop and utilize daily and weekly reports to monitor manufacturing labor costs, affordability, and production schedules.
• Collaborate with Operations Leadership to influence operating methods, implement new technologies, and redesign production layouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools such as Tableau.
• Experience in production analysis and engineering tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Excel Macros proficiency
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
• Greenbelt Certification
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and leading process improvement activities
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
• Experience in applications of learning curves
• Knowledge of Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating
• Previous Sikorsky Operations Experience
