About The Position
The Criminal Attorney IV position is located in the Medicaid Investigations Division (MID) of the North Carolina Department of Justice, which is the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) for the State of North Carolina. This attorney will serve as a Special Assistant United States Attorney (SAUSA) and will be responsible for prosecuting Medicaid fraud cases, conducting investigations, and providing legal guidance. The position requires significant experience in prosecuting white collar crimes and involves working closely with federal and state agencies. The attorney will have the option to select Charlotte as their home office location, with the possibility of teleworking part-time, subject to management approval.
