About the position

The Mid-level Financial Analyst at Strategic Alliance Consulting Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting financial data analysis for the EMERALD Program, which provides life-cycle acquisition management and strategic financial support services for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This position requires a strong understanding of government budgetary processes and the ability to analyze financial data using various automated reporting applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support FMM and FMR with a focus on financial data analysis.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports.
  • Merge data and utilize supplemental data sources using automated reporting applications such as Python, R, and Tableau.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with DoD or other government agency budgetary or finance processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience with DoD or other Government Agency key budget execution processes including funds control, fund transfers, travel orders, and credit card purchases.
  • Demonstrated experience with fund execution policies for principal DoD and IC appropriations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all phases of the PPBE process to include Program and Budget documentation and justification through the IPBS/CBJB and IPBR/CJB processes.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience (6 years) in U.S. Intelligence Funding Programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD and IC programs and budgets.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with financial databases and systems, and spreadsheets.
