About the position

The Mid Full Stack .Net Developer is a key role within the development organization, responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is eager to grow their technical and business knowledge, enabling their Agile team to deliver significant business value. The developer will work closely with architects and consultants to design business solutions, champion best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create or modify solution designs independently, breaking them down into executable pieces of work.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare and execute tests and test plans (unit, integration, and functional).
• Lead efforts in creating and documenting deployment and release plans.
• Advocate for coding and design standards/best practices.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members on day-to-day work items.
• Work with business partners to ensure alignment between requests and outputs.
• Make recommendations for technical and procedural improvements.
• Perform peer reviews and sign-off on team members' work to ensure adherence to development standards.
• Act as a key player and leader in an Agile environment, participating in daily huddles, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
• Attend Agile team and development group meetings.
• Engage with business partners for continued education on business processes.
• Mentor junior team members in best practices and standards.
• Serve as an escalation point for junior team members on technical issues.
• Facilitate business and technical knowledge transfer with peers.
• Pursue continued education to learn additional technologies, agile processes, programming languages, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in software development.
• Solid knowledge of programming languages across all three tiers (UI, API, DBMS).
• Solid knowledge of SQL or comparable data querying language.
• Solid knowledge of Git and Development IDE.
• Experience with web and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and mindset.
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience with REST and SOAP services.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Up-to-date with the latest programming trends, techniques, and technologies.

• Application of SOLID design principles in solutions.
• Test Driven Development experience.
• Ability to lead a team's efforts and direction.
• Experience with Visio or comparable drawing tools.
