About the position

The Mid Level App Sec Engineer will play a crucial role in transitioning Checkmark from an on-premise solution to a SaaS model. This position requires extensive experience with Checkmark, particularly in programming and implementing custom solutions. The engineer will evaluate Checkmark SaaS features and plan the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition while leveraging their expertise in application security, scripting, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Checkmark SaaS features and plan the migration from on-premise to SaaS.
• Implement and program within Checkmark using languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Write custom queries and manage engine pack upgrades for Checkmark.
• Utilize SAST and SCA tools for application security governance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure effective use of Checkmark as a security tool.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Application Security (AppSec).
• Proficiency with Checkmark in both on-premise and SaaS environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with SAST and SCA methodologies.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
