About the position

The Mid-Level Application Developer at Exsilio Solutions is responsible for delivering web application solutions that drive business value for stakeholders. This full-time position involves collaborating with clients to assess their needs, developing technical specifications, and contributing to the Web Application Development Practice.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the assessment of the customer environment and their requirements and document results properly.
• Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements.
• Perform tests according to a given test plan and document results.
• Perform basic support and debugging in test and production environments.
• Identify and escalate problems.
• Maintain and repair existing applications.
• Develop components of the technical solution proposal.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Hands-on experience working on component-based applications in a distributed environment.
• 5 years in Application Development using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL.
• 2 to 4 years as a programmer using C# and/or .NET framework.
• Front-end skills: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS.
• Full lifecycle experience developing large scale, scalable applications.
• Ability to convert functional specs into technical specifications.
• 3+ years of experience working as an Agile Developer on Scrum teams using Agile methodologies.
• Solid Object Oriented analysis and design skills.
• Test Driven Development experience.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery experience.
• Familiarity with Design Patterns and Agile Architecture principles and practices.
• Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning, and deliverables.
• Proven ability to understand a customer's needs.
• Experience developing technical requirements based on business imperatives.
• Strong customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Working experience with Bootstrap.
• Understanding of AngularJS.
• Experience developing and/or integrating solutions related to Mobile optimized websites and applications, including the use of JQuery Mobile and Xamarin.
