In this position, you will perform line technician services, routine inspections and maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving. You will also be responsible for brake repairs, fluid exchanges and flushes, wheel alignments, and tire installations. Excellent guest service is a key component of this role, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles. You will document all work performed on the repair order and report any safety issues immediately to management. Promoting teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours is essential, as is maintaining strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation. This role may require performing a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues in vehicles.
  • Perform line technician services, routine inspections, and maintenance.
  • Conduct system diagnostics and problem-solving for various automotive issues.
  • Execute brake repairs, fluid exchanges, and flushes.
  • Perform wheel alignments and tire installations.
  • Provide excellent guest service, including clear communication about vehicle status.
  • Document all work performed on the repair order accurately.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the automotive industry.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
  • Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • ASE Certification.
  • Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
  • Previous electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience.
