About the position

This contract role is for a Mid Level Backend Developer specializing in Java, based in Atlanta, GA, for a gas station consulting firm. The primary responsibility is to build applications that enhance the functionality of client operations. The position is contract-based for 2-3 years, with potential for contract-to-hire depending on the necessity of the role post-project completion. The work will be primarily remote with some onsite days required, not exceeding three per week.

Responsibilities

• Build applications to improve client functionality.
• Collaborate with team members on project requirements and solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications as needed.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience with Java.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of REACT framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the dental market.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of other back-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with Angular.
