About the position

This mid-level backend developer position focuses on Java development within a healthcare start-up based in Atlanta. The role involves working on the innovation and analytics team to enhance telehealth applications and practices. The developer will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and contribute to driving innovation in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
• Collaborate with team members to improve internal and external applications.
• Participate in the design and implementation of microservices architecture.
• Engage in data modeling and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Contribute to frontend development using frameworks like React or Vue.
• Work in a hybrid environment, attending the office 3 out of 5 days a week.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
