We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Creative Designer/Art Director to join our growing team. This position is ideal for smart creatives who possess at least 5 years of branding experience in an agency or studio environment. As a Creative Designer/Art Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring that MasonBaronet continues to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Your responsibilities will include the conceptual and strategic development of various marketing and promotional materials, such as corporate identities, advertising, collateral, websites, digital marketing, and social media content. You will supervise a diverse team of illustrators, photographers, programmers, copywriters, and production artists, guiding them through projects to ensure that the creative vision is realized effectively. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing advertising and marketing strategies that visually communicate products and services in a way that resonates with the target audience, all while adhering to time, budget, and production constraints. Your ability to make informed decisions regarding timing and creative direction will be essential to the success of our projects. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, remote office environment, managing their time and projects independently while also collaborating effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptual and strategic development of marketing and promotional materials, including corporate identities, advertising, collateral, websites, digital marketing, web design, social media, and internal and external corporate communications.
  • Supervise illustrators, photographers, programmers, copywriters, and production artists on projects.
  • Develop strategies for advertising/marketing concepts that visually communicate the product/service in a manner that will appeal to the target audience under time, budget, and production constraints.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in design/advertising or a related field with at least 5-10 years of agency/firm experience.
  • Exceptional conceptual and design skills.
  • A portfolio that displays a wide range of branding case studies, direct and promotional marketing, social media, advertising, and website design.
  • Strategic and creative prowess with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to present to clients and communicate effectively with team members in person and remotely via Zoom.
  • Ability to respond professionally to direction, constructive critique, and client feedback.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a remote office environment.
  • Ability to independently manage time and projects wisely.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of front-end programming for websites, email marketing, etc.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of AfterEffects for video animation.
