ECS is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist/Exploitation Specialist to work in our Washington DC Area office. This position is contingent upon contract award. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the National Security Group (NSG) strategy by creating automated collection models and dynamic analytic models. This includes employing workflow automation and any other automation processes and products as assigned by the government customer. The role requires refining, enhancing, and improving the operational performance of automated solutions by evaluating performance data, engaging in regular customer interaction, and conducting standardized maintenance cycles as needed by the government customer. In this position, the Data Scientist will apply data science and visual programming tradecraft to support and streamline analysis tasks as identified by key stakeholders and the government. Responsibilities also include enhancing technical solutions to problems related to intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cueing, information sharing, and visualization. The candidate will conduct extensive collections and analytic modeling, data processing, data mining, and visualization, as well as conducting gap analysis on existing technologies and processes. Effective communication is crucial, as the Data Scientist will be responsible for clearly and concisely communicating with customers on the progress of projects, processes, and emerging technologies. Proactive communication of data-driven findings and automation efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences is also expected. The role involves designing, integrating, and maintaining Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) processes that utilize automation tools or scripts to drive predictive, activity-based automated imagery collection. The candidate will work closely with the customer to identify processing problems due to procedures, tools, and services, and will be responsible for training and integrating new tools, processes, and capabilities for use in imagery collection orchestration. Support for emerging requirements as assigned by the government is also part of the role.
