About the position

The Mid-Level Interior Designer at IDF Studio is responsible for supporting various residential and commercial design projects, ensuring a blend of style and effective project management. This role involves collaboration with Senior Designers and the CEO, focusing on tasks such as site measures, space planning, sourcing, and project installations. The position is remote/hybrid but requires the designer to be located in the San Francisco Bay Area for regular site visits.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Designers with site measures and space planning.
• Source materials and manage project budgets.
• Communicate and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Assist with project installations and styling.
• Oversee purchasing and expediting alongside the purchasing agent.
• Run individual projects with supervision from senior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of related experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and construction documents.
• Experience with Studio Designer is ideal but not required.
• IDEX, NCIDQ, LEED, or similar certification is a plus.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with organization.
• Excellent troubleshooting and prioritization skills.
