About the position

The Mid-Level Donor Representative is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with ministry partners and donors through various communication channels. The role focuses on raising financial resources by cultivating existing donor relationships and prospecting for new donors to support FamilyLife's mission. This position is essential for transitioning mid-level donors to upper-level status and ensuring consistent engagement with donors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thank you calls to new donors making gifts from $1,000 to $5,000.
• Consistently work to lift new donors in the mid-level status to upper-level status.
• Call donors on an assigned caseload three to four times per year.
• Cultivate and lift major donors who live in remote areas to which major donor reps are unable to travel.
• Evaluate and appropriately assign new mid-level qualifiers as designated.
• Provide phone call follow-up to written fund appeals to encourage specific gifts.

Requirements

• Experience in donor relations or fundraising, preferably in a non-profit environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and ministry partners.
• Proficiency in using CRM software or donor management systems.
