Ardurra is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team. The primary function of this role is to perform assignments that require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related design engineering tasks. This includes utilizing various computer software packages and automated engineering and design tools to effectively complete projects. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems specifically for water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities. This encompasses the development of site plans, floor plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, and other essential documentation. In addition to design responsibilities, the role requires visiting sites to evaluate existing electrical distribution systems and identifying necessary improvements. The engineer will develop site evaluation reports and provide opinions on probable construction costs for electrical projects. They will also be tasked with creating preliminary design reports that identify recommended electrical modifications and developing control diagrams. The position involves providing design for both low voltage and medium voltage distribution within treatment facilities. Furthermore, the engineer will assist in the peer review of electrical designs completed by other electrical engineers and coordinate with other engineering staff, including Engineers in Training (E.I.T.s) and designers.
