About the position

Net Vision Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Mid Level Front-End Developer to join their team. This role involves mentoring team members, developing complex web applications using React and other tools, and ensuring the application meets security and usability standards. The position emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and the application of innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a mentor role to team members
• Experience with the React framework and additional tools (Node, Yarn, Webpack, Redux)
• Apply government and industry security into React web applications
• Code and configure software applications based on detailed wireframes and requirements
• Attend information sessions related to newly developed features
• Test the application for usability and functionality
• Create Unit Tests
• Participate in code reviews
• Work with Systems Engineers and testers to ensure application requirements are met
• Work in a fast-paced software development environment to meet schedule milestones

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building complex web applications
• 7+ years of experience developing single page applications
• 3+ years of current experience developing in React, JavaScript, and Redux
• Experience in Angular, Backbone, Knockout or Ember
• Experience with ECMAScript 6
• Thorough understanding of React, JavaScript and its core principles
• 7+ years of experience coding in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• 7+ years of experience interfacing with Rest APIs, JSON, XML
• Proficiency with Chrome and/or other browser Developer Tools
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, theories, and concepts

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Elasticsearch, NiFi, Apache Kafka
• Experience with Express NodeJS
• Experience with Map Visualizations
• Ability to take ownership and work independently on large portions of a project
• Experience with data analytic visualizations
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
