About the position

The Mid-Level Full Stack Developer position at Strategi Consulting involves working in a dynamic environment supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles. The role focuses on providing geospatial information sensing and analytics capabilities for next-generation space command and control technology development. As a full stack developer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end systems development within an Agile software development team, ensuring seamless integration of applications and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Integrating commercial applications with component processes and operations
• Integrating existing applications, ensuring platforms work together seamlessly
• Designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software, applying industry best practices
• Working as a team player in an Agile environment to deliver software solutions
• Proactively learning and utilizing new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to fulfill project requirements
• Providing technical input to other areas and teams

Requirements

• Five (5) to eight (8) years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript programming languages
• Demonstrated experience with Express.js building RESTful APIs with Node.js
• Production experience with JavaScript frameworks including React.js and Node
• Experience working with databases, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with Material UI
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including API development and integration, data modeling, etc.
• Experience with git, cloud environments, test automation, and deployment infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Have led development efforts from the ground up
• Have experience with data visualization, particularly for geospatial data
• Have experience with the Department of Defense, NASA, or commercial space operations
• Are located in Colorado Springs, CO
