About the position

As a Mid-Level Graphic Designer at HealthBird, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand's presence through impactful and engaging visuals. This position involves collaboration with marketing and product teams to create user-centered designs that resonate with audiences across various digital platforms. You will be responsible for producing high-quality visual assets while adhering to tight deadlines, contributing to a purpose-driven company that aims to simplify health insurance for everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality visual assets for digital media, including social media graphics, web banners, email templates, digital ads, and product visuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life and maintain alignment with HealthBird's brand identity.
  • Assist in evolving and maintaining HealthBird's visual guidelines to ensure cohesive branding across all channels.
  • Support marketing campaigns with compelling graphics, infographics, and illustrations.
  • Resize and adapt design assets for various platforms, optimizing them for web performance.
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas for campaigns and digital experiences.
  • Manage multiple projects under pressure and meet tight deadlines, delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Stay updated on design and healthcare industry trends to bring relevant, new ideas to the team.
  • Make refinements to designs based on feedback, ensuring polished deliverables within project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, ideally in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and UX/UI design principles.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital design work, including social media graphics, infographics, and branded marketing assets.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, with the ability to create bilingual materials as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, meeting tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset, capable of taking constructive feedback and iterating as needed.
