The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) role at ISPA Technology involves protecting critical naval infrastructure through effective cybersecurity management. The position requires collaboration with military and civilian stakeholders, overseeing cybersecurity operations, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage cybersecurity processes and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and program teams to integrate security across the entire system lifecycle.
  • Oversee lab facilities and support control system engineering.
  • Drive cybersecurity testing and evaluation efforts.

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in cybersecurity and security engineering.
  • Expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity testing and evaluation.
  • US Citizenship and a Department of Defense Secret Clearance are required.
  • AS or AA degree in a relevant technical discipline, or IAT Level II or III Certificate.
