Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington. This position is hybrid, requiring some work onsite at one of the listed location options, and is for the 1st shift. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, planning, and deploying internal and external projects, as well as developing processes and tools to measure key performance indicators. The role involves extracting, analyzing, and preparing reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan, and supporting the development and implementation of strategies. The Procurement Analyst will also identify and implement improvements to streamline and automate process flows, assess and report compliance to internal and external stakeholders, and develop risk mitigation plans. This position must meet export control compliance requirements, necessitating that the candidate is a “U.S. Person” as defined by U.S. export regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Measures key performance indicators.
  • Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources.
  • Prepares reports.
  • Reviews procurement/planning systems.
  • Reviews schedules, creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities.
  • Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation.
  • Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements.
  • Communicates project objectives and activities.
  • Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects.
  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan.
  • Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis.
  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develops risk mitigation plan.

Requirements

  • More than 1 year of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
  • More than 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • More than 1 year of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • More than 3 years of related work experience for Mid-Level 3 or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
