About the position

The Mid-level Project Manager/Scrum Master at Kforce is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within budget and on schedule. This role involves coordinating team efforts, managing resources, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle, while adhering to Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex projects
• Track, promote, and publish completed program initiatives, epics, and business value metrics following Agile methodology
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
• Work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Proactively solve problems and take ownership of project outcomes
• Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles and practices
• Manage risks and dependencies, communicate and escalate impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduce bottlenecks
• Ensure adherence to budget constraints with a +/- 5% say/do ratio
• Provide formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned teams for effective project execution
• Build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
• Maintain thorough knowledge of new development and/or SDLC techniques
• Own the planning, estimation, design, configuration, testing, and production release on financial projects impacting multiple business areas
• Interact with business leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort/cost, prioritize work, develop enhancements, coordinate testing, and perform change management

Requirements

• Preferably certified PMP or Agile Safe Scrum Master certified
• Ability to coach and mentor teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement
• Deep experience with the Agile development methodology and tools such as Atlassian Jira software is a must have
