About the position

As a Mid-Level Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You will develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases, both manual and automated
• Identify defects and prioritize testing efforts
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium
• Automate testing to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Work with development teams to understand requirements and develop effective test plans
• Participate in agile development methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Assist in performance testing to ensure software meets performance standards
• Identify and report performance issues to development teams
• Generate test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and results
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance testing efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 3-5 years of relevant QA experience, or Equivalent experience in QA roles

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with QA tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
