About the position

The Mid-Level Systems Engineer position is designed for individuals with a strong background in systems engineering, focusing on the design, maintenance, and optimization of advanced infrastructure solutions. This role requires a self-starter with excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with enterprise systems, particularly in a hybrid work environment. The engineer will collaborate with teams to ensure system compatibility and functionality while supporting 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and developers to design, configure, and maintain system components, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Monitor system operations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve escalated support tickets while maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Perform hardware and software maintenance, including installation, upgrades, and operational support, while recommending system improvements.
• Document processes, provide technical updates to stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution of issues with exceptional attention to detail and accountability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with expertise in VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, SAN storage, and virtualization.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar tools) and a strong understanding of network fundamentals.
• Proven ability to resolve high-level issues and deliver innovative solutions under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to support 24/7 operations and travel on-site as needed.
