About the position

The Mid-Level Systems Engineer at GliaCell Technologies is responsible for providing technical expertise to support a U.S. Government customer in modernizing critical mission-related software and systems. This role involves documenting existing systems, creating migration plans, and collaborating with developers and business analysts to optimize workflows based on user needs. The position offers a chance to work with advanced technologies in a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Document entity relationships, data dictionaries, system interfaces, and data flows.
• Work with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to document existing workflows.
• Recommend optimizations to the platform and workflows based on user needs.
• Assist in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract.
• Support the migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.

Requirements

• Possess an active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering accompanied by a Bachelor of Science degree or similar discipline (4 years of experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree).
• Experience in database design, operations, maintenance, reverse engineering, data normalization and cleansing, scripting, data analysis and visualization, and data security.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Oracle and existing BM&A systems.
