A fortune 500 client of Insight Global is seeking a UX Designer/Researcher to join their Data and Analytics team. This role is integral to the organization, working collaboratively with various teams including engineering, finance, and marketing. The position is split evenly between design and research, requiring a candidate who is adept in both areas. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and possess a strong understanding of research methodologies and data analytics. The UX Designer/Researcher will focus on a product that provides insights into supplier compliance and performance metrics, such as order fulfillment speed, invoicing timelines, and stock availability. This role is crucial for enhancing the user experience and ensuring that the product meets the needs of its users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and marketing to gather requirements and insights.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors related to supplier compliance and performance.
• Design user interfaces and experiences using Figma, ensuring they are intuitive and user-friendly.
• Analyze data and analytics to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and research findings to enhance product usability.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in UX design and research.
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of data and analytics.
• Proficiency in Figma for design purposes.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Strong research experience, particularly in user experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduated from General Assembly or Georgia Tech with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
