About the position

The Mid-Level Fullstack Java Developer will lead moderately complex initiatives within technical domain environments, contributing to large-scale planning and execution of strategies. This role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting projects associated with technology domains, including upgrades and deployments. The developer will resolve technical challenges, lead a team to meet client needs, and collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve goals. This position is ideal for an experienced Java/Microservices engineer looking to impact the Home Lending Origination platform by automating complex business processes using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 4+ years of Java unit testing framework experience (JUnit or related).
• 4+ years of Spring experience.
• 3+ years of Agile experience.
• 3+ years of experience in building Spring Boot based microservices deployed in a Cloud environment.
• 2+ years of functional test automation using BDD (Karate, Cucumber, Gherkin or similar).

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS experience.
• 3+ years of Angular unit testing framework experience (Jasmine/Karma or similar).
• 2+ years of Kafka experience.
• 2+ years of MongoDB experience.
• 2+ years of Oracle experience.
• 2+ years of Spring JPA/Hibernate experience.
• 2+ years of Cloud Experience (PCF, Azure).
