About the position

Segra is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Raleigh, NC team. This role focuses on driving sales within the telecommunications sector, leveraging Segra's extensive fiber network and innovative solutions to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated hunter with strong communication skills, capable of building relationships and delivering compelling presentations. This position offers a competitive salary along with monthly commissions based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and achieve quotas in the mid-market segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Deliver presentations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Sell innovative telecommunications solutions including Ethernet WAN, DIA, Managed LAN, SD-WAN, Voice, UCaaS, Security, Data Center, and Cloud Solutions.
  • Understand and navigate the sales process to compress decision cycles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or technology sales.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and listening skills.
  • Strong business acumen and technical confidence.
  • Experience selling solutions related to connectivity, storage, cloud services, and security.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
